Four 260 piece ribbon-cut puzzles, each one bursting with the bold color, comic character work, and extraordinary scene-building that makes Serhat Filiz one of the most entertaining artists in the puzzle world.
A magnificent wooden ark sails through a moonlit sea in gloriously chaotic style — every deck, mast, and cabin overflowing with animals of every species. Elephants, lions, pandas, penguins, giraffes, cats, dogs, monkeys, flamingos, dolphins, and dozens more crowd the vessel from bow to stern, with birds filling the night sky above and sea creatures leaping from the waves below. The ark itself is a marvel of improvised architecture — wheels, barrels, flags, and a ship's wheel all visible across its ramshackle, wonderful decks. A full moon illuminates the entire extraordinary scene from above.
A lineup of boldly colored cartoon birds assembles along a clothesline hung with envelopes, birdhouses, and colorful parcels — each bird a distinct character with its own personality, outfit, and expression. A green bird in a hat holds a briefcase, a red bird glares suspiciously, a pink flamingo-like bird wears a bow tie, a teal bird looks philosophical, and a grey bird stands apart with quiet dignity. Butterflies, bees, and smaller birds fill the flowery background, and the whole scene has the energy of a very busy postal sorting office staffed entirely by birds.
A packed summer beach is viewed from directly above — a vibrant aerial panorama of sunbathers, swimmers, surfers, and water sports enthusiasts filling every inch of golden sand and brilliant turquoise sea. Colorful beach umbrellas of every pattern and hue dot the shore like giant flowers, swimmers dot the water alongside a shark fin, dolphin, and motorboat, and the whole sun-soaked scene hums with the unmistakable energy of a perfect summer day at maximum capacity.
A cozy sewing and crafting room in soft purple tones has been completely commandeered by cats — a yellow cat stands on the worktable amid yarn balls, scissors, thread spools, and fabric in various stages of completion, a sewing machine sits ready, a dress form wears a patchwork garment, and cat portraits cover the walls. Books, paint jars, and craft supplies line the shelves, a warm window light spills across the room, and every surface speaks of a creative space cheerfully shared with feline housemates who have their own ideas about how the crafting should go.
