Robert Incorvaja's Reunited is a masterwork of interlocking portraiture, assembling ten or more distinct faces into a single composition so tightly interwoven that each figure seems to emerge from — and dissolve back into — the others. Against a warm, sun-drenched yellow background punctuated by a glowing ochre circle and soft blue geometric blocks, faces of every size and orientation crowd the canvas. A bold single eye with a red iris anchors the upper left in a triangular form. To the right, a large face peers forward beneath a crown of green leaves, its features spread across an almost architectural grid of rectangles and steps. In the middle register, a pale oval face gazes leftward with dark-lined eyes and burgundy lips, while a smaller, more linear face floats just behind. The lower half is where Incorvaja's linework reaches its finest expression — a woman's face in three-quarter profile, rendered in flowing pink contour lines that ripple like topographic curves, her blue-green eyes calm and contemplative. Around her, more faces emerge: a green-hatched mask, a mustachioed profile in grey and blue, a fragment of lips and jaw in the lower right.
