The alarm hasn't gone off yet, the cats have other ideas, and the morning is in absolutely no rush — and honestly, same. This wonderfully cozy 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle from Magnolia is the sixth and most intimate illustration in Seul Grim's beloved series, zooming all the way in to a bedroom morning scene so warmly observed and lovingly detailed that assembling it feels like the most comfortable puzzle session imaginable. Every corner of this room tells a story, and not one of them is about getting up anytime soon.
Seul Grim's Good Morning draws you into a bird's-eye view of a bedroom at that golden, unhurried hour when the day hasn't quite started yet. A young woman in a purple sleep mask and yellow pajamas smiles softly in her sleep, tucked under a lush green plaid duvet trimmed with red ribbon bows and frilly edges. Three cats have arranged themselves with perfect feline authority across the bed — a black-and-white cat steps across her pillow making direct eye contact with the viewer, a second black-and-white cat stretches across her legs, and an orange tabby forms a contented lump beneath the duvet somewhere around her knees. On the bedside tray, a cup of tea and cookies wait patiently. The room is a glorious, creative chaos — the walls are covered in postcards, art prints, heart-shaped clocks, hanging charms, and decorative pins. A cluttered desk to the left holds a tablet, yarn in a wicker basket, a lamp, notebooks, pens, and a small lunchbox. Stacks of books, a game console, apples, toast, and another tablet showing a game are scattered across the floor. Green plaid curtains frame a window overlooking a brick building in soft morning light, and a tiny bear charm dangles from the curtain rod. This Magnolia jigsaw is the ultimate ode to the art of staying in bed
