Magnolia Christmas Rock Gwen van Knippenberg 1000pc Jigsaw Puzzle

This magnificent 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle from Magnolia features another spellbinding work by Dutch artist Gwen van Knippenberg, this time a soaring, fantastical Christmas village built impossible-high on a rocky island of snow, light, and holiday magic. Assembling it is an advent calendar of tiny discoveries, every section more delightful than the last.

Gwen van Knippenberg's Christmas Rock is a fairy tale architecture puzzle of the most spectacular kind — a towering, conical island village rising from a frozen plain beneath a deep cobalt and violet winter sky. The composition is pyramid-shaped, building upward tier by tier from a base of ice-skating figures and snow-dusted trees through rows of densely packed European townhouses to a pinnacle crowned by a magnificent Christmas tree blazing with golden light, its star catching the moonlight above. Every level of the village is packed with architectural detail — Dutch-gabled façades in pink, terracotta, grey, and cream, their windows glowing warmly from within, snow piled on every rooftop and ledge. At street level, charming shopfronts line the base of the rock — a Boek shop, a Kaas shop, a Groente stall, a Café, a Bloem florist, a Bonbons confectionery, a Vis fishmonger, and more — each with its own awning, sign, and festive decoration. Tiny figures skate on the ice surrounding the village, build snowmen, drag Christmas trees, and stroll among the snowy paths. Streetlamps glow yellow in the foreground, a snowman waves from the left, and a full golden moon hangs in the starry sky above, casting the entire scene in a luminous, magical light. This Magnolia jigsaw is a winter wonderland of the most extraordinary kind.
