This spectacular 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle from Magnolia features the richly illustrated artwork of Olga Skomorokhova — a sweeping, deep-blue holiday collage so packed with Christmas joy, iconic imagery, and tiny storytelling moments that you could spend an entire December finding new details and still not catch them all. This is Christmas in a box, and it is absolutely magnificent.
Olga Skomorokhova's Christmas is a masterwork of festive illustration — a vast, jewel-toned collage set against a deep midnight-blue background, alive with the full spectrum of Christmas magic from edge to edge. At the glowing heart of the composition, a group of children skate and celebrate around a beautifully decorated Christmas tree in a luminous white ice rink, gifts piled around them and joy radiating outward in every direction. From there, the scene expands into a breathtaking panorama of Christmas vignettes — Santa in his sleigh soaring overhead, a vintage red Volkswagen Beetle loaded with a Christmas tree, a magnificent carousel with white horses and red-and-gold striping, a steam train decorated for the holidays, nutcracker soldiers standing guard, a Christmas market with food and gift stalls, a patisserie window glowing with cakes, carolers singing in the snow, children sledding and ice skating, snowmen, elves, angels, a Hanukkah menorah, a gingerbread house, log cabin cottages wrapped in wreaths, and dozens of tiny figures going about their most festive business. Gold stars scatter across the deep blue background, and the entire composition glows with a warmth and generosity of spirit that makes it one of the most celebratory holiday puzzles imaginable. This Magnolia jigsaw is a Christmas gift as much as it is a puzzle.
